As someone from an Asian (Indian) background, born in the UK and living in Northern Ireland since the age of five, I can honestly say that the people of Northern Ireland are warm, caring, generous often to a fault and very welcoming. It is a beautiful country, blessed with some of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the world. I would not want to live anywhere else! But like the rest of the UK – these have been challenging times with the perfect storm of COVID and Brexit rolled into one.
