This piece is a series of “thoughts” and the idea was conceived when meeting with Ninder on a (rare) warm summers day when he visited me at our Mayfair office to retrieve his beloved umbrella I had been storing for a while……..I should have charged rent!
This also reminds me of the tale of the millionaire who deposited his very expensive car as security with a bank so that the parking would be cheaper in a very expensive city than the interest paid – you may have heard of this tale. Ninder and I connected on some LinkedIn commercial dating a while ago and we decided we do not meet in a relaxed mode often enough – he has taken to the terrace at our office where I offer him a nice cuppa and we try and catch up on his London visits.
