If I ever get tired of Italy, then I will be tired of life! It has a blend of ancient history, Renaissance art, and vibrant street life. Whether you’re a history buff, an art lover, or someone looking to indulge in Italy’s culinary delights, Rome has a bit of everything.
My three-day stay left me with unforgettable memories, and here’s a glimpse into what you can expect if you’re pondering a similar trip.
 
Day 1:
My Roman adventure began at the iconic Colosseum. Arriving early in the morning helped me beat the crowds and gave me time to take in the sheer size and grandeur of the amphitheatre. I opted for a guided tour, which provided fascinating insights into the Colosseum’s 2,000 year history. It also offered access to the underground and upper tiers, areas I would have missed. Standing in the same arena where gladiators once fought was awe-inspiring.
