1. Good to Great – Jim Collins
One of the first business books I read, and to this day it is still my favourite. Backed by years of research, they analysed what key traits enable businesses to make the good to great journey. There are 5 key traits and the two most notable traits for me are Level 5 Leaders, who portray humility as one of their key characteristics, and The Flywheel which is all about generating momentum and keeping it going. I regularly dip into this book and we recommend to all of the leaders that we work with.
2. The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team – Patrick Lencioni
Another long time favourite, really easy to read as it is written in the style of a powerful fable that follows the journey that a team go through together highlighting the traits that a team needs to be successful together.
