As a contributor to every issue of this fine publication since it was created, I was slightly surprised that although I have explored global relationship building often before, including ‘comfortable silences’ and more, I haven’t shared more thoughts on today’s theme.
As I am still involved in exporting and international trade both strategically and in ‘daily doing’, making it over 40 years continually enjoying the challenge of securing sales globally, I see many seminars and training around culture, language etc. but hopefully my experiences and thoughts will help you too.
I frequently used to travel for 2-3 weeks at a time covering several countries and it would be easy to assume that all of the places in a country or region will be the same. Then reality strikes!
